Rowupdated vs rowupdating
When the Drop Down List_Selected Index Changed event is fired - the initial data source is dropped and a new data source is created (based on a parameter that is passed in from the drop-down list) and bound to the Grid View control.
The Grid View displays this new, dynamic data source properly. When I take a standard Grid View, bind it to a Data Table and dynamically wrap it in an Update Panel at run-time, the Row Updating event stops firing my handler. the View state is disabled because I need the the Grid View to be displayed even when there is no data.
